Counting Apples

Since this month starts fall/autumn and I had a request in my group, I decided to get a jump on it and start making things to share.  The request was for some counting mats with apples.

I’ve come up with Counting Apples for the Apple Tree and I went with the number word on the tree and the numeral on the basket.  That number of apples will be placed on the mat.  This activity will work on a couple of skills for little ones.  These mats are for counting 0-25.

FIXED: Chocolate Chip Cookies

This folder has been fixed and anyone wishing to download these files can now do so!! Sorry for the error, but 4Shared has a couple new features that I’m still getting used to. I had no problem accessing them now and you all should be able to as well.

Thanks so much Mary for letting me know there was an issue!! I surely don’t know unless someone brings it to my attention, so it’s appreciated.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

No, this isn’t a recipe, although baking some does sound awfully good!!  It’s just too hot to spend that much time in the kitchen though.  So, we’ll just have to settle for a couple of free printables!!

The first is a counting mat.  A cookie with a number is placed on the mat in the space provided, then that many chocolate chips are counted out and placed on the cookie.  The second item is a set of 2-part puzzle cards.  The numeral on the cookie jar will be match to that number of chocolate chips on the cookie.

Both of these activities are for counting 0 to 25.
